Toto's Floor Part 1.

OMG! original 1975 lino is terrible, its brittle, and smelly and blerg the accumulation of grim around the edges is just...wow! But that's to be expected in areas you can not access to clean over 43 years.

Being a Nail Tech has its perks though. I have access  to wholesale bulk acetone, that and a steel brush made cleaning this filth so much easier especially since the original owners used liquid nails to stick down the lino and the edging.

After the initial acetone and wire brush scrubbing and a lot of chux latter, I was able to give it a sweep and a good wash with more acetone to lift the the dirt turned to mud, then a final hot water and soap rinse
I did go over the entire Camper at the same time (hard surfaces) with acetone to clean the areas I wanted to paint. Oh acetone, you are the best if not a wee bit smelly.

The high traffic area from the door to the front of the sink of the lino did not lift. Only the top layer peeled away and for all the scrubbing, chiselling and acetone in the world it just wont budge, so its staying to provide extra strength in this high traffic area, oh well gotta look on the bright side.
